MEMBERS WILL HAVE TO BOOK HOURLY SLOTS TO USE THE CENTRE, SESSIONS ARE BOOKED VIA YOUR FitSense App
The safety of our colleagues, members and all visitors to our gyms is our highest priority. Coronavirus presents us with new challenges in ensuring everyone can enjoy the many health benefits of exercise whilst remaining safe.
More information on coronavirus can be found on the NHS, PHE and PHS websites.
Following guidance issued from the government on Thursday 9th July 2020, we will re-open from the 25th July 2020. We can’t wait to welcome you back to your gym soon! You will receive email communications before the 25th to clearly detail what this means for you and inform you of your options when we re-open.
To ensure that our members can maintain a safe distance from each other whilst working out, we will have moved some bits of kit around, and put others out of action. Whilst we will have less equipment and machines to use whilst we help maintain social distancing measures, we have done our best to keep as much kit in use as possible.
When we're open, you will be able to check out how busy your gym is through the new feature on the Fitsense app –
To ensure that you get the most out of your experience, you will need to pre book your session.
We have put some pieces of equipment out of action to help ensure that our members can train whilst adhering to social distancing measures. We are also limiting the number of people allowed in the gym at any one time, as well as providing cleaning equipment and hand sanitiser for our members to use as they enter the gym, and to clean the equipment after use. To help us keep our members safe, we ask that you respect the social distancing rules, and regularly wash your hands.
Yes, but we have reduced numbers of people allowed in overnight,
We want all our members to feel safe in The Gym. As such, all members must continue to follow the advice of Government and national health services. This includes ‘shielding’ for any vulnerable people, such as those with breathing difficulties, or other medical conditions which can mean that they are at higher risk as a result of COVID-19.
Should you not be able to return to The Gym when we reopen because you are shielding, continue to self-isolate, or do not yet feel ready to come back to us, please do get in touch and we can put your account to ‘frozen’ until you are ready to return
f you are unwell, symptomatic or have tested positive for coronavirus, do not attend the gym and follow government regulation on isolating for the minimum period of time, and only return after this minimum period if you are feeling well again.
We have installed custom cleaning stations that provide both hand sanitiser for all our members to use on entry, as well as paper towels and sanitiser spray to clean the equipment after use. We ask that all members use the cleaning product to clean the equipment to help reduce the risk of any illnesses being spread.
We are working hard to ensure that our hygiene standards are kept to an exceptional level. To achieve this, we have increased the regularity that our facilities and equipment is cleaned, as well as providing more cleaning products for our members to use. This helps ensure that the equipment is regularly cleaned and decontaminated. We also deep clean the gym early each morning so that it is fresh each day.
